RESUMO
Este trabalho apresenta um conjunto de definições de termos associados a produtos da pesca e aquicultura. A larga maioria é constituída por termos portugueses, mas incluem-se também termos noutras línguas,dada a actual importância das trocas comerciais destes produtos a nível mundial. Compreende, igualmente, uma lista de algumas siglas usuais nesta área, bem como de organizações e instituições, alguns factores de conversão de unidades, constantes físicas e químicas e "sites" da Internet

ABSTRACT
This work represents a glossary of terms associated with fishery and farmed products. Most of them are in Portuguese, but some terms in other languages are ais o included, taking into account the present importance of such products in the internacional trade. It also comprises a list of some frequently used acronyms concerning products, organizations and institutions. Some conversion factors, physical and chemical constants and Internet sites are also presented.
